Thomas Wyck was a Dutch painter of port views and genre paint­ings. He excelled in Ital­ianate paint­ings of ship­ping and sea­ports, pop­u­lat­ed with many fig­ures. He also paint­ed fairs, pub­lic mar­kets, and the inte­ri­ors of chemists’ lab­o­ra­to­ries. (Source Wikipedia)
